Mandala yoga is a great way to aid meditation, and when we practice a Mandala Vinyasa Flow sequence, we make a circle or travel 360 degrees around the mat through a four part sequence. The sequencing may have a single focus, such as opening the hips, or combine multiple areas of focus.
Today’s practice will focus on grounding and stretching our hips. Even at the best of times, when I’m feeling super up beat and flexible, I struggle through water. Those deep hip openers get me every time. Not to mention that my left hip has been a bit sore recently…
Anyways, I hope you enjoy this week’s practice and it helps to balance and restore your energy, and leave you feeling relaxed and ready to conquer the week!
So grab your mat, and get ready to awaken and heat up your body with this fluid practice!
