Today we practice Traditional Sun Salutation. This sequence of 12 yoga postures creates a continuous flow that harmonizes our body movement with the breath. Every round has two parts –one for each side of the body- which increases our concentration and helps to focus the mind while uplifting our energy. Nowadays, many yoga styles –especially Vinyasa Yoga- use this particular series as a warm up, incorporating different movements according to the more complex asanas ahead. Nevertheless, in this episode I will keep it as close to the classical way of practicing as possible.
