Today we will do an all level HIIT that covers the basic and foundational exercises in interval training and bodyweight workouts. Once you master the basics you can build upon that. Focus on your form and move at your own speed. Make no mistake, these exercises might be foundational but they can be very very challenging. Your body will grow stronger and more agile from them. These exercises are a perfect compliment to a yoga practice – between yoga and HIIT we cover most aspects of movement. HIT is proven to be one of the best forms of cardio and endurance training. It is perfect for improving performance, flexibility, strength, speed and explosive power. It is very effective in increasing our metabolic rate and it is great for weight loss, fat loss or staying in shape. Whatever our goal is it can help us achieve it. I love HIIT because they are very practical and doable even when I am very busy. I can fit in a session right before dinner. A 12 minute session leaves me invigorated, refreshed and energized.
