10 Minute Morning Meditation Physical Ideal
This group of three meditations are set up completely different then all the others to date. The difference is that before beginning meditation we ask ourselves, why we want to focus on this particular item. Many people meditate without ever giving thought to their personal purpose.
In answering why we want to focus on a particular mental, physical or spiritual goal we understand our ideal. If our ideal is self serving, we create a Frankenstein per Edgar Cayce. If our ideal is for the greater good, moving humanity forward, we create a higher vibration in our soul, helping to bring ourselves to perfection.
Before listening to a meditation of your choose, you may want to take a few moments and jot down what your ideals are related to the topic you will be meditating on. This is a great exercise for any of the meditations, not just the ones in this group.
Our ideals change with time. You may be focused on physical perfection, because you want to be able to care for your young family. That is a good reason, it serves you and others making it a fine ideal. As you get older, you may wish to focus on physical perfection so you are not a burden on others. Again this is a fine ideal, it serves you but it serves others as well. We often focus on peace and joy in our meditation, ask yourself why? Your ideal may be simply to feel more peaceful in the world. This is another fine ideal, because you are bringing peace into the world by being peaceful yourself.
All meditations provided are done with prayers of protection and closing with the 23rd psalm as taught by Edgar Cayce in his lifetime. Although these meditations are short, they are very profound. This meditation may leave you slightly altered, so please do not drive or go to work immediately after completing this simple guided meditation. Be sure you are fully aware before moving forward with your day.
