Hey y’all! My name is Miranda Peterson, RYT200 yoga teacher trained in Hatha yoga in India and founder/owner of Namaste in Nature.

Namaste in Nature offers 5-star yoga + hiking + meditation experiences near Asheville, NC. We choose trails and yoga sequences that are accessible to everyone including beginners. This yoga hiking experience is perfect for individuals, couples and groups; especially bachelorette parties, birthdays and girls weekend trips to Asheville, NC.

Each Friday in January 2019, I’m releasing a new video for each element: Earth, Water, Fire and Air.

This gentle, 25-minute Earth Element Yoga Flow is great for beginners and yogis wanting to connect with the Earth element. We’ll flow through about 20 minutes of poses (asanas) followed by a short yoga nidra relaxation.

Earth represents the solid state of matter. This practice will focus on rooting down and grounding yourself. Grounding is great for anxiety and calming or cooling the body and mind.

Earth is also associated with the first chakra: Muladhara or the Root Chakra. It is located in the base of the spine in the tailbone area.

I include a little challenge to continue your yoga practice off the mat so stay tuned til the end for that. 😉
