This video is about 3 Tips To Maximise Your Yoga Practice In Classes.
In this video, I am emphasizing on the 3 most important things that every yoga practitioner should know.
#1: Placement: Alignment is important to avoid putting unnecessary stress on our joints. Proper placement helps strengthen weaker parts and release stiffer areas, realigning the body. It is a way to raise body awareness and intelligence.
#2: Engagement: Maximum muscle engagement challenges many muscles while creating a stable base at the same time. Most yoga poses involve compound movements. Many standing postures
use not only the quadriceps but also the calves, hamstrings, glutes, lower back and core musculature eg an immovable warrior base, in situ or in transition, can only be achieved through
full engagement of relevant muscles required to stabilize the core and maintain the integrity of the form.
#3: Deepening: Deepening can only happen at ease when you focus on breathing properly. When you inhale, you increase the energy flowing through your body, allowing easier access to your body’s power. When you exhale, you create more space in the body which results in a feeling of greater openness. So, make conscious breathing your priority.
Learn the above mentioned 3 things properly every time you practice yoga and your practice would surely improve.
Thank you.
