So this is a really quick video on some basic beginner yoga workout moves that I’ve been practicing lately. Decided to put them all together to make a flow. I’m not an expert or a professional certified teacher…yet? But I LOVE yoga!

Sometimes there is a disconnect between people who have been doing yoga for years and someone just starting out. Every yoga class I’ve been to I always would give a quick disclaimer that I was new or a beginner to this and they always say “no problem you’ll be fine.” But I wasn’t fine. I struggled and somewhat felt embarrassed. I hate that feeling.

So I wanted to share my “beginner” yoga journey with you to #1-show that it is ok to be new to something. Even if you are surrounded by masters. And #2-Just get started right where you are. No matter if it’s yoga, running, swimming, weight lifting, healthy eating, whatever it is! Just get started!!! You can easily do this routine several times over and over for 5, 10 or 15 minutes everyday. Feel free to add new moves to this flow and make it your own.

Now don’t be judging me on my moves… I just told you I am a beginner yogi and I’m sensitive about my moves!!!?…..and yes my daughter just had to make her debut in the video as well!
