I’m going talk about what you should and should NOT be feeling in cobra pose.

Let’s start with what you shouldn’t be feeling.

3 things in particular you shouldn’t feel
– Spine (including neck) pain
– Inactive legs – Knees relaxed on the ground, feet relaxed, thighs disengaged.
– Pressing up with your arms. This is a lift.

What to feel
– Engagement in the core
– Engagement in mid- and upper-back, between shoulder blades
– Engagement in thighs and hips
– Tops of feet pressing into the ground
