Overweight and Obesity

The accumulation of excess amount of fat in our body is what we call obesity. The following are the few reasons which can lead to obesity and gaining weight.
Consuming too many calories.
Leading a sedentary lifestyle
Not enough sleep
Lower rates of smoking (smoking suppresses appetite)
Medications that make patients put on weight.
Genes

The above reasons our definitely there for gaining weight but yoga doesn’t believe that all these problems does not have solution.
Overall the aim of yoga is not just body reduction but to bring balance in your whole body. We not only train our mind for burning extra calories , but to develop body awareness.
A daily continuous practice of Yoga helps in overcoming all the problems.
Yoga should be used as a form of self-expression, helping our body/mind complex flow freely.
