Evening Yoga – 25 Minute evening yoga routine to relax you and relieve anxiety, tension and stress and help to prepare you for sleep. (With Subtitles). This beginners yoga practice, is ideal for a bedtime yoga routine. It focuses on soothing forward bends which are cooling and calming for a tranquil summer evening.
Working with forward bends to calm the nervous system, this yoga practice concentrates on the alignment of the body and the movement of the breath. Although we are not teaching meditation in this video, we would hope that you can achieve a meditative state, conducive to sleep, after practice.
This sequence is yoga for Beginners, but watch the video first if you haven’t practiced with us before. You will need 5 foam pads, (you can use 3 folded blankets instead if you don’t have yoga equipment) and a folded blanket.
