It’s Jasmine here with an update on how my flexibility training and stretching is going. I have been stretching almost every night with a few nights off if my muscles were especially sore.
I have really enjoyed having this challenge to do at night time and I was super excited when I realised I could do a back bridge. I think practicing the back bridge will help me with my attempts to get my feet to touch my head backwards.
I have seen a small amount of progress on my feet touching although I still have a long way to go. I have seen a lot of photos of guys doing back bridges for strength training, although I always remember girls doing it when I was little.
I’m going to continue to focus on my feet touching as well as my head to feet stretch and hopefully within the coming months I will see a massive change. So far I am really pleased with my consistency in doing the stretches for flexibility training and I think having the routine will be the biggest help in improving my flexibility.
