Welcome to Gems Of Yoga Dubai, the U.A.E’s first foremost Yoga and Meditation Center. Gems of Yoga is a hidden Gem on Sheikh Zayed Road Dubai. Traditional Yogic wisdom and Science have been inbuilt into the 14 yoga classes and workshops held daily from 06.00 am -10.00 pm where in the Gurukul style only 6 yogis can join at the same time in a yoga session , 365 days a year. There is also Beach yoga and Yoga teacher training with resident ( Sunita Bhalla, the founder & CEO Gems Of Yoga) and visiting faculty from Rishikesh, India.
At Gems Of Yoga there is something for everyone, from beginner to advanced yogi and from 5 year old child ( Animal Yoga ) to pregnant lady ( Prenatal Yoga )to older adults over 60 ( Silver Sneakers Yoga), a tired Yogi ( Stress release Yoga), to an Athletic aspirant ( Power Yoga and Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga) , to a happiness seeker ( Hatha Yoga) to a tired individual ( Vinyasa or flow Yoga ) to an aspirant on self analysis and discovery ( Kundalini Yoga) to someone wanting to tune the mind ( breathing and meditation Yoga called Raja yoga) to a creative individual wanting to enhance their creativity ( Chanting in Bhakti Yoga) to a mysticism seeker ( Tibetan Yantra Yoga ).
All yoga sequences draw from the teachers like Nath Munis, Adi Shankaracharya, Hatha Yoga Pradeepika, Ramana Maharshi, kriya Yoga, Vivekananda, Jiddu Krishnamurthy, Krishnamacharya and his student B.K.S. Iyengar, Pattabhi Jois, Indra Devi, Richard Hittlemen, Rodney Yee, Erich Schiffmen, Satyananda, Sivananda, Sri Aurobindo, SVYASA, The Kaivalya Dham, Sri Rama of Himalayas, Dhirendre Brahamchari from Mantalai and kaulantak Peeth Satyendra nath ji Maharaj. Gems Of Yoga prayer is Atmashatkam which carries the essence of whole of Yoga and it believes in the tradition of Shakta in Sri Yantra through the blessings of Maha Tripura Sundari and Shivoham in Mishra Tantra tradition of Yoga. It conducts Yajnas and chanting sessions where the interested aspirants are invited to join. Gems Of Yoga present team includes 4 full time teachers, Sanskrit scholar well verse d in Karma Kand and the part time yoga doctor from all four directions in India and more than 20 free lance Yoga teachers from different nationalities who have trained from the teacher training at Gems of Yoga. At Gems Of Yoga we provide a complete programme for body, mind and soul. Founded in the year 2000 by Sunita Bhalla, Gems Of Yoga is inspired by her Yoga Guru Dhirendre Brahamchari, the Yoga Teacher to the Gandhi family of India, the then Prime Minister of India. The name Gems of Yoga came from the teachings of Tabtra and Kundalini Yoga where each chakra color was imagined as a gemstone bringing luminiscence of life to the practitioner and of blooming the lotus.
