The Hinged bookstand is a project that has been around for hundreds of years. it was first written about by Andre Roubo, but in modern times it was popularised by Roy Underhill in the WoodWright shop. it is a treat project for beginners as there are so many skills to learn in making it. Form resawing, and chisel work to fret sawing and carving. Give this one a try and see just how your skills increase ad you make it.
