In this videos Flute Phani describes Basic Sarali Swaras in Carnatic Music
Sarali Swaras are the first basic graded exercises composed by St.Purandaradasa.
Sarali means simple and easy.
These are mainly to identify the frequencies of seven musical notes and to understand how differently they can be framed using simple raga and basic rhythm.
These are mostly symmetrical in ascending and descending orders.
The selected raga (for playing Sarali Swaras on Flute) is Harikambhoji
