This baby had better be worth it…
It’s a thought that went through my mind countless times during my last pregnancy–especially during the first trimester.
For many pregnant women, the first trimester is the hardest. The work of building a baby from scratch is exhausting and can totally zap your energy. Morning sickness makes some mamas feel nauseated all. day. long. Then there’s the anxiety that accompanies so many unknown variables. Will the baby be healthy? Will you? How might a new baby change the family dynamics.
I’ve been there. And I’ve got you.
If there’s one thing that can help you to manage ALL of that heavy stuff, it’s a regular, consistent yoga practice.
The following short practice is for those times when you’re feeling totally depleted, run down, exhausted (emotionally and physically) and maybe a little bit sick, too. Listen to your body as you move through the sequence, breathe deep, and be kind to yourself.
