What is Chakra Balancing? Part 2 of 4 By Satyarthi Prateek?
In the journey of learning more about the chakra in the human body, we have arrived at the second part of this four-part series. To recap it, the last part did primarily focus on reiki, chakra balancing as well as mystic healing. In this part, our pivotal concern is to focus on the varying prospects of the second chakra in our body.
In the last installation of this series, we focused on the first chakra and how one can use reiki and mystic healing to heal their inner souls. The process of learning chakra and aura is not an easy one to master. It does take quite an extensive amount of time but the end results are quite rewarding for your mind, body, and soul.
Second Chakra – Svadishthana
In this part of the series, we are going to focus on the second chakra in the body which is also known as the Sacral chakra. Known as Svadishthana in Sanskrit, the second chakra is often denoted by the white lotus and is signified by the colour orange.
The second chakra is positioned just 2 inches below the navel. You will often encounter a tingling sensation when you do a number of activities, much like that during freefalling and such. This is when your second chakra gets activated and you feel that feeling of goosebumps around your stomach region.
Also known as the life chakra because of the kind of significance it does hold. It was believed that back in the days when Samurais were asked to die, they simply just put the sword right where the second chakra resides. More than the chakra for depression, this one signifies the meaning of life. Samurais were believed to encounter the most peaceful form of death when they did so while dying.
What is the significance?
The second chakra, more than the chakra for healing, is signified as the chakra of emotions. Every form of emotion and feeling is signified by this specific chakra. Understanding this might not be the chakra for beginners but if you have basic knowledge about the chakra and the chakra for meditation, you will understand this one better.
Every prospect of one’s emotion is designated to this chakra. Your inner willpower, strength and even the power and energy is dependent on this specific chakra. Any kind of lack of imbalance of this chakra causes an emotional turmoil within us. The relationships and financial aspect of our lives get affected.
When it comes to physical factors, people tend to experience extreme lower back pain. But, how to chakra balance and how to do chakra healing for this specific chakra?
How to balance this chakra?
In order to balance and energize this chakra, the art of meditation and mystic healing does work along in the best way possible.
For healing, one needs to close their eyes and concentrate on centralizing and bringing forth the concentrated energy from the golden pyramid of energy right to the center of your heart. This is repeated through the ground energy as well as from the top, the combination of which is what helps you gain proper balance throughout.
Following that, you need to bring your hand down towards the second chakra in your body and feel the energy surrounding the chakra to be able to heal and balance it accordingly.
A little about the third chakra
The third chakra is considered as the most important chakra in the body and is often known as Manipurak in Sanskrit. This is the chakra responsible for denoting confidence and the self-esteem.

It is also known as solar plexus and is denoted by the yellow colour. It is situated 2 inches above the navel. The power center imbalance is often defined by a feeling of depression and sadness consistently.
Healing this chakra is definitely important if you wish to gain back your lost confidence and build in that feeling of protection back again. In order to bring back that balance back to that chakra, it is important to channelize that lingering energy to the seven bodies of energy to bring back that lost balance in the chakra.
Learning more and more about the eastern medicine, especially the art of chakra is beneficial for your spiritual well being. The second and third chakras have their beneficial impacts as mentioned accordingly. In order to use chakra for concentration, make sure that you feel that lingering energy in your surrounding and centralize it towards your body.
