I have always used my iPhone 7 Plus to photograph and record all of my pics/vids for IG. Today, I got the new iPhone X and am excited to see the changes that it brings. For editing, I use iMovie and the app called Video Music and since IG is so weird about music you can always checkout my public playlists on Spotify to listen to my current faves – search Chelsea Seaman. Love sharing what I use so let me know if ya have other questions! Happy Tuesday, guys! ?
Shoulders on ? About once a week I use my wall to practice drills on and find my savasana to be a little sweeter that day because my shoulders are smoked after. Here’s part of what I did today to fully exhaust myself. Have you ever done these?
When Michelangelo was carving the statue of David from a single stone of marble he was asked, “Aren’t you afraid you’re going to take too much off? Ruin it?” He replied, “No. David is already in there. I’m just taking the layers off.”
.
Here’s to knowing you’re already in there. Shed your layers. Come into your best self ❤️

Flowing to my friend ?
Took 30 minutes to move on my mat this morning before heading off in a different direction to spend the day in Portland with family. Already so thankful that I took the time for just me before the house started to busy. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours ???Love love, Chels ?.

When 2017 started I made three yoga goals for myself and this was the first – STAND UP FROM WHEEL. I actually was able to check this off the list within a month of the new year BUT today was the first time I successfully dropped back into wheel after hurting my back this past summer. Being about to stitch three drop backs and three standing back ups from them has always been an Ashtanga bar/goal for me and today was the first time I was able to do it! ? Did you set any 2017 yoga goals? Have you met them? Countdown is on for me because I have TWO more!! ?❤️?
Following my strength drills each morning I hop around on my mat playing with handstands. Today, I challenged myself to hold this pike handstand for as long as I could. My handstand journey started 3 months ago and this was my longest hold of 23 seconds. I fought hard for these seconds! I’m learning that holding strength postures is some of the hardest work in yoga similar to staying strong in life. It is easy to just put my feet down, to give up, to quit. Today, I stayed. Today, I took one more breath. Today, I was stronger. .
