Start the yoga exercise by laying on your back with your head about six inches from a wall. Raise your arms above your head, placing them on the wall. Lift your legs into the air and bend your knees at a 90-degree angle. Your knees should stay aligned with your hips. Slowly lower one leg toward the ground, and tap your heel on the floor. Return to the starting point, and continue to alternate legs for one minute. Your abs should stay contracted and your lower back flat through the whole yoga stretch. If you need to increase your stability, press your hands firmly against the wall. Yoga therapy is great for staying stretched and loose to conquer lower back pain!
