This is a 15-minute yoga practice for people who are trying chair yoga for the first time or have limited mobility in their backs. It will help with lower back pain and mid-back pain. It is a slow, gentle practice to help get the spine moving. No matter how limited your movements are right now, you can always do a little bit at a time to get yourself moving.

Jennifer Houghton is a certified yoga, fitness, and Pilates instructor. She works predominantly with people over 50 to help with aches and pains. She has been teaching fitness and yoga for over 25 years, owned a yoga studio, taught yoga & fitness for the MS Society, and currently lives in southern British Columbia offering live classes and workshops as well as Skype sessions.
