Mare is a young widow sharing her journey with more than one million views on her YouTube Channel. Mental health, self care, women’s health, special needs and being true to yourself are pillars of Mare’s message. She strives to include helpful content in multiple videos per week as well as on the radio and on her growing social media. Mare is a single mum, raising a child with special needs and lost her husband to suicide in 2017. She’s build a strong online community, aptly named ‘Mareathoners’, which shares intimate aspects of life to help each other. She’s made it her mission to be vulnerable and open to ensure her Mareathoners know they are not alone.
