Chair yoga is a seated yoga routine aimed to strengthen the legs, abdominal muscles and lower back, and stretches the hips, legs and back. It also includes an important yoga workout to improve circulation and increase mobility in the feet and toes, which can help maintain balance. Seated leg exercises are great for anyone with limited mobility, perfect for seniors and anyone who would like a change to their normal routine. Seated exercise and yoga have many positive benefits when practiced regularly, they can help reduce pain, improve sleep, mood, energy and general wellbeing. This video is great to practice to prepare the feet and legs before balancing postures.
