Yoga breathing exercises for Beginners: Proper Breathing Techniques. These yoga-breathing techniques (also known as pranayama, which means “breath control” in Sanskrit) will calm both the mind and physical body. This is a Beginners level instructional Yoga video but can also can be used as a guided meditation to benefit anxiety sufferers, insomniacs and anyone who practices yoga or wants to relax.
This free online video is a yoga breathing class that teaches the full complete breath, which starts by sectioning the lungs in to three parts and then guides you to lengthen your breath. When practiced regularly it helps you to be able to deepen your breath.
After practicing this guided breathing exercise regularly and when you feel comfortable with the technique you may like to try one of my other guided breathing exercises such as;
