Hi! I’m Christina, and welcome to my yoga YouTube channel, ChriskaYoga! In this video I am going to show you 5 ways to use yoga props (yoga blocks, yoga blanket, yoga strap) to improve your yoga practice. I already posted in intro video on How To Use Yoga Props that you can check out as well for a basic description on what the props are generally used for, but this video is going to show you 5 different and unique ways that you may not have heard of yet.
First I will show you two uses for the yoga block. One for your legs in bridge pose (setu bandha sarvangasana) and one for your arms to prepare them for inversions (handstand, headstand, forearm stand). Next I’ll be talking about how to use the yoga blanket 2 ways in savasana to help alleviate lower back pain and then to help you feel more calm and grounded. Lastly, I’ll be showing you a way that you can use your yoga strap to improve your posture!
