This is my first video. Please be nice. :-). I have a posterior herniation with extrusion displacing and impinging some nerve roots which left me not being able to walk or sit. Major sciatica down the left leg and lots of numbness in the saddle area. It has been 3 months since it happened and this video shows some of the exercises and tips that have helped me. Accupuncture, massage and swimming also helped. You really have to watch your movements now and do everything you can to help your body get better. Keep that core strong, good posture, never bend forward and don’t lift. Everyone is different so these tips and exercises might not help everyone but they helped in my situation. Good luck and stay positive. I also use KT tape “x” position on my lower back. I also love my ice packs and electric heating pad. P.S. Medication helps if you can take an antianflamitory or pain killers. I’m extremely grateful for every day I can get out of bed because I’ve heard so many stories of unsuccessful surgeries, epidural shots and the sad stories of people who go through so much pain for years. Don’t do too much too quickly because that can set you back. Relax when you need to. I really liked this website…. Http://www.chirogreek.com/Herniation/Herniation%20Page/disc-herniation-page.html
