This is what I eat on an ordinary day during my pregnancy. I’m 23 weeks right now, and, as you can see, I don’t eliminate or restrict any food groups or go crazy about eating heaps and heaps of vegetables at the expense of everything else. It’s all about balance for me, and lots of real, homemade food with healthy starches. Some of you also asked me to talk about my workout routine, if and how it’s changed during pregnancy, so in this video I talk about my current exercise routine as well. I’ve even included a little clip of my morning yoga! My pets always participate in it. 🙂

Ingredients for the Bolognese Pasta Sauce:
– 2 tbsp butter
– 4 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
– 1 medium onion
– 1 celery stick
– 1 medium carrot
– 500g (around a pound) of minced beef
– 1/2 cup of dry red wine
– 1/2 cup of milk
– 400g of chopped tomatoes
– 1 bay leaf
– a pinch of dried thyme
– salt and pepper
Enjoy! It’s always best the next day. We serve it with pasta and some Parmesan sprinkled on top.
